Calibrated Diamond Parcels: Why Millimetres Beat Carat Guesswork

Calibration means stones in a parcel share tight size bands so they set evenly. Carat total alone does not protect a channel.

Acceptable spread

Agree the tolerance in writing. A “about 2.0 mm” parcel is not a calibrated parcel.
